Marsha is a single parent with a 15 year-old son. She came to Irving Cares because we had a job fair with a recruiter from TXU Energy on site. Job-seekers completed the online application in our computer lab, and then met with the recruiter immediately. Marsha got a job today at Irving Cares. She starts training on Tuesday, April 28 – a great example of how Irving Cares offers a hand up, not a handout, for Irving residents.
