Support Scouting for Food This Weekend! This quote was made by a Scout at the Irving City Council meeting this month: “I am here today representing Boy Scout troops in Irving who will be collecting food items door-to-door to help feed the needy in our very own community. I encourage you tell these Scouts how integral their work is to the past, present, and future of our wonderfully supportive community. Most of the food will be donated to Irving Cares. We ask the community to support our effort by greeting those Scouts who come to your door, and donating to the best of your ability.”
