At BNSF Railway, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, Board member Yolanda Carroll manages a $120 million account portfolio and leads a rail transportation and logistics sales team responsible for formalizing growth and profitability strategies to machinery and wind energy component manufacturers.
She has worked in corporate America for over 20 years. After graduate school, Yolanda joined American Airlines serving in a variety of roles within Finance, Supply Management, and Marketing. She earned her BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, and her MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
Yolanda has been a resident of Irving since 1994. She is active in the community serving on the non-profit board of directors of the American Cancer Society, and the municipal City of Irving Housing and Human Services Board. Yolanda has been an Irving Cares board member since 2004. She is committed to Irving Cares because it efficiently, compassionately, and tirelessly works with residents of Irving and other non-profits to provide temporary emergency assistance, while providing a hand-up through job programs that lead to longer-term sustainable success.
